Our purpose is to glorify God by promoting mission within the churches of the Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (The Bible: John 3:16 [NIV]) |
| Our Vision |

Our vision is to help equip the churches within the fellowship to obey Christ's command to make disciples of all peoples. Jesus said to his disciples, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (The Bible: Matthew 28:18-20 [NIV]) |
| Our Practice |

• We seek to inform and encourage the pastors in regard to mission, particularly at the Ministers' In-Service Training and Prayer Conference. • We cannot make progress in obeying Christ's command without prayer so we produce a prayer handbook to encourage prayer within the fellowship for those involved in mission overseas and within the UK. • We are able to suggest those who would be willing to share with a church on the subject of mission - and often out of personal experience. • We have recently acquired an exhibition to help promote mission and this will be made available to the churches upon request. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. (The Bible: Colossians 1:28 [NIV]) |
